Dear Teen Missions 2009-2010 Participant:

Tendai Travel will be looking after the group arrangements for Teen Mission participants 2009-2010. We would like you to be aware of the following information:

1. PASSPORTS/HEALTH:
Your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond intended time away. Travel agents are not permitted to give out medical advice, apart from any compulsory inoculations requested by governments. There is nothing compulsory for any of this year’s teams, however we suggest that you may like to take optional precautions. Here are two web sites of travel vaccination companies that you can check out: www.travelhealth.com.au or www.tmvc.com.au or call 1902 261560 approx. A$1.05 per minute.

2. FREQUENT FLYER POINTS:
For teams travelling on Singapore Airlines (Cairo, Cambodia, Nepal) no frequent flyer points apply.

Belfast team – cannot accrue points.

Tonga team – Can accrue points under Virgin Blue's Velocity program.

You may fax, email or mail your frequent flyer numbers to us, if applicable, between 1-21 December 2009. Not before or after these dates please.     Please keep your boarding passes as you fly to verify your statement.

3. E-TICKETS:
If for any reason you need a copy of the e-ticket before you get to Tewantin, you may request a copy from us, either by email, fax or mail. You should only request a copy between the dates of 19th Nov – 10 Dec 2009. Copies may be needed for any tax free purchases, or proof of travel for other reasons.

4. VISAS:
No teams, for Aussie + Kiwi passport holders, need to obtain a special visa in advance. Visa on arrival fees apply for Cairo, Nepal and Cambodia. A passport sized photograph is also needed on arrival to Cambodia.

6.Three Travel Insurance Options

1.Comprehensive Policy Cover.   Unlimited medical cover. Also includes luggage upto A$12000 (upto A$600 per item or A$3000 for cameras/video/laptop), travel delay, death, dental, cancellation. No excess applies to this policy.

2.Budget Policy Cover. This policy reduces the luggage cover to A$2500, it does not cover Hijacking, Accidental death, Total Permanent Disability, or Loss of Income. No excess applies to this policy.

3.This policy covers medical/dental only. This policy has an excess of $100 per claim made.
