Fees
Effective September 2006

Due to the way that the travel industry is progressing - with airlines heavily reducing remuneration, or eliminating it altogether, means that on selected fare types, we need to add a surcharge or flat fee to your bookings needs.

This has been happening in North America for some time, then New Zealand, Germany, and the UK, and now hitting the Australian market.

When we advise fares, they will include our fees, if applicable.

Currently, fees apply as follows:

A$10 per direction, per person, for all Qantas/Virgin Blue/Jetstar/Air North domestic fares.
(no fees for REX or  SKYWEST)

A$10 per direction for Trans Tasman/Pacific Island travel on Qantas, Air New Zealand, Pacific Blue, Polynesian Blue, Air pacific.

A$15 per booking per person on budget carriers in Europe/Asia, in addition to their credit card fees, and in some cases, their fees for checking luggage on board their aircraft.  Includes Tiger Airways.

A$20 per booking for Airlines of PNG's Non-changeable fares.  NO fees apply on changeable and flexible fares !

We still want to look after you, but to keep good staff, and in order to keep up-to-date with product information, to be able to inform you well, we need to do this.
